What is Interior Redesign?

Interior redesign is a decorating process that uses the furniture, artwork and accessories that you already own. It is a concept that has been featured on HGTV’s FreeStyle and Design Remix television shows. Interior Redesigns can typically be accomplished in one day and takes into account your “story” and lifestyle resulting in peaceful and beautiful rooms that you will love. You can get a stylish new look for your home in one day, without the wait and expense of traditional interior design.

What can I expect to happen when I call Remix Redesign?

We will first schedule a consultation appointment that costs $85. This consultation is an opportunity for me to find out what you like and don’t like about your room; what furniture, artwork and accessories you treasure; and most importantly find out who uses the space and for what purpose. At the end of the consultation, we will give you the quote for redesigning your room(s) and will schedule an appointment to come back to do the redesign. Depending on the number and size of rooms being redesigned it can take half a day to a full day for the redesign. We will work on the redesign while you are at work or at play and look forward to seeing your reaction at your very own “reveal” moment!
What if I don't like the room once you have finished?

Remix Redesign’s focus is on using what you already own, and adding our decorating expertise to give you a beautiful, stylish room with all the function that you require. Since we spend time with you in the consultation learning about you and your home, it is a rare occurrence that our work would not exceed your expectations! However, should this occur, we will make adjustments to ensure your satisfaction.

What if I like to decorate myself?

Remix Redesign is a perfect complement to everyone.  Imagine you as the Designer, deciding what mood you want to create in your space, what colors to paint, and what furniture and accessories to buy. Then you sit back and send in your design assistants who come set up the room.  We simply add our decorating and staging expertise to help you complete the project, however the room is completely your design and you still take all the credit!

When should I call Remix Redesign?

Remix Redesign is ready to help you fall in love with your home again! Call us when:

  • You want to brighten up a tired look, but don’t want to spend a fortune

  • You are planning to entertain and you want your home to reflect your sense of style

  • You’ve recently moved and need help figuring out how the “old stuff” fits into your “new space”
